Animal Waste Compost Facility:


The Blue Creek Compost Facility is open and accepting vegetarian animal waste: horse, chicken, rabbit manure, etc. by appointments focusing on Wednesday. Call 419-893-1966 for an appointment or more information. Cost to dump is $5 per cubic yard. A level pick up truck bed is two cubic yards.

Board of Supervisors Monthly Meeting Dates:


The following are the approved 2017 dates. All meetings are scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM at the Lucas SWCD Office, with the exceptions of January 24th beginning at 10:00 AM, and August 22 beginning at 5:00 PM at Blue Creek Conservation Area:
January 24, February 21 (*changed to Special Meeting on February 22 at 2:00 PM during 1/24/17 Board meeting due to scheduling conflict), March 28, April 25, May 23, June 27, July 25, August 22, September 26, October 24, November 28, December 19.
   

Milkweed for Monarchs:

Dried brown/gray pods can be dropped off outside the Lucas SWCD office in a designated bin starting September 1st and running through October 31st.
