Toledo-Lucas County Sustainability Commission accepting applications for neighborhood sustainability

TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo-Lucas County Sustainability Commission (TLCSC) is currently accepting applications from local organizations and residents for their Sustainable Neighborhoods Grant program. Grants of up to $1000 are being offered to community groups who are looking for funding to implement sustainability projects that will enhance their neighborhood. Qualified grant applicants are encouraged to propose a project that will create social, environmental, and economic benefits for their community. The Toledo-Lucas County Sustainability Commission is looking applications that include creative ideas that utilize community assets and promote sustainability. Use of the TLCSC’s Sustainable Neighborhood Toolkit to develop a project is strongly encouraged.


All application materials should be submitted by Friday, March 31, by 5:00 p.m by e-mailing your application to tlcsc@lucascountygreen.com, or by mailing it to:
