Banks
The banks can only accept the exact amount of the bill and only during the months of January and July. Any tax payments made after the due date must be made directly to our office.
For your convenience, real estate tax bills can be paid at the following locations:
- Huntington Bank
- Key Bank
- Genoa Banking Center
- Exchange Bank
- Fifth Third Bank
- First Federal Bank
National City Bank (PNC) will not be accepting payments at any of their branches.
Please Note
If your parcel has been selected for the Tax Lien sale, you can not process your payment through this system. Please contact the Lucas County Treasurer's Office at (419) 213-4055. All payments processed through this system will be returned to you and considered unpaid.
Debit/Credit Cards & eChecks
Credit card, Debit card, and eCheck payments can be made via phone or online. They also can be made in person at The Treasurer's Office. However, all payment methods listed above will incur the following processing fees by Federal Payments: $3.95 for Visa Debit Cards, or 2.35% of the payment amount for Credit Cards and non-Visa Debit Cards, or a $2.00 flat rate for any payment $85 or under. $1.50 for eChecking payments. No Credit Card payments will be accepted by mail.

For Debit, Credit, or eCheck payment by phone, call (877) 690-3729 and follow the instructions. Both payment options require Lucas County's jurisdiction code: 4502. If you require customer service assistance, call Federal Payments toll free at (866) 764-2002, extension #3.
Mobile Home Tax Payments by Debit/Credit & eChecks
This is for payments on manufactured/mobile home tax bills (green and gold), NOT mobile home like real estate (blue and white). The same processing fees apply for these payments.
