Lucas County Auditor Anita Lopez, leads the way in innovation and transparency in government. As one of the first counties in the United States to convert to digital records, Lucas County paved the way for significant advancements in technology. AREIS Online debuted in August of 1999 and was developed solely with in-house staff. The Lucas County Auditor's Office won several awards for cutting edge technology, some of which include:
