After you are done protecting your Boat – Help us protect the Environment!

The City of Toledo, The Board of Lucas County Commissioners, Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful, and Ohio Clean Marinas are partnering to provide Boat Wrap recycling for Lucas County Marinas and Residents.

It is estimated that between 10,000 and 20,000 tons of this hard to recycle material is sent to landfills every year. We can do better in Toledo. This year recycle your boat wrap through this free program.

Marinas can participate in the program by calling the Lucas County Solid Waste Management District at 419-213-2230. If your marina is not participating in this program, this number can be called to discuss individual drop off options.

In order for Boat Wrap to be recycled, all nylon straps and any other non-shrink wrap material must be removed, and it must be properly bundled.
