Adult Specialized Treatment Court Docket

On December 2016, the Adult Specialized Treatment Court Docket was officially certified by the Supreme Court of Ohio with Judge Ian B. English as Presiding Judge.  The Lucas County Adult Specialized Treatment Court was created to address the needs of participants with a substance use disorder which resulted in a criminal conviction or multiple overdoses.

The Adult Specialized Treatment Court Docket establishes accountability, effective treatment as an alternative to incarceration and provides intensive Court and probation oversight to increase the safety of the community.  Treatment Court is a minimum of 18 month program and, since its inception, has served an average of 75 participants at a time.  As of September 2019, there have been 23 graduates.
