The Lucas County Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) is a summarization of Lucas County's financial activity in an easy to understand format. Data from the PAFR is extracted from the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), the official audited financial statement of Lucas County that conforms to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and is more suitable for those who desire more detailed information regarding the County's finances. Lucas County has received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting every year since 1997. This prestigious national award is granted to state and local government agencies by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), and recognizes conformance to the highest standards of popular reporting that considers creativity, presentation, understandability, and reader appeal.

In recent years, PAFRs have been made available in newspapers, at libraries, and in various public places. Bound copies of this report are available at:
