Lucas County Commissioners Oppose Proposed Location of Nexus Pipeline Compressor Station

The Lucas County Board of Commissioners will hold a press conference to oppose the proposed location for the Nexus Pipeline Compressor station. The proposed compressor station location in downtown Waterville is in a densely populated area. The press conference will highlight the potential risks associated with the compressor station, the need for an evacuation plan, and alternative location considerations.

Communities that have passed resolutions against the proposed compressor station location include: City of Waterville, Waterville Township, Monclova Township, Village of Whitehouse, Anthony Wayne School District Board of Education, Toledo-Lucas County Health Department Board, Fulton County Health Department, and the Village of Metamora.
