OhioMeansJobs Lucas County announces new employment resource hours at library branches

TOLEDO, OH – OhioMeansJobs Lucas County and the Toledo Lucas County Public Library have announced a new schedule of days and hours that employment resources and job assistance programs will be available in TLCPL branches.

Beginning Monday, June 5, OhioMeansJobs Lucas County will rotate staff to provide services in four library branches on Monday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. as follows:

First week of the month: Reynolds Corner Branch, 4833 Dorr St.

Second week of the month: Kent Branch, 3101 Collingwood Blvd.

Third week of the month: Mott Branch, 1010 Dorr St.

Fourth week of the month: Sanger Branch, 3030 W. Central Ave.

“Our partnership with the Toledo Lucas County Public Library aims to empower the community with necessary tools and resources to excel in their careers and achieve their goals. The new schedule will provide one-on-one help for individuals looking to connect with meaningful employment or a new career path,” Commissioner Tina Skeldon Wozniak said.

Services and resources provided by OhioMeansJobs Lucas County staff include registering job seekers on ohiomeansjobs.com, resume and cover letter assistance, and job and training information.

Individuals can schedule an appointment and register by calling 419-213-JOBS (5627). However, appointments are not necessary to obtain services.
