Request to Waive Attendance at Hearing - The Change in Value I am seeking is:

Less than $50,000 difference: I request the Board of Revision to grant my request to waive my appearance at the hearing. Board of revision can render a decision without my attendance.
A difference of $50,000 or greater: I understand that the school board for my district BY LAW will be notified of the requested change in value, and in response, they may file a counter-complaint
If a counter-complaint is filed, a hearing WILL BE SCHEDULED and it is recommended you do not waive your appearance.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
The Board of Revision will ONLY consider the Complaint and any supporting documents the Complainant has submitted. It is strongly encouraged to submit evidence 5 days prior to the hearing. This will enable a faster decision and potentially expedite your refund if a refund is warranted. Evidence that you can submit to the Board includes but is not limited to the following: Arms-length sale documentation, including deed, Hud-1 settlement statement, purchase agreement, Board will not consider testimony about arms-length sale in absence of documented evidence of the sale, the recent appraisal must be authenticated by the appraiser in person during the hearing, certified estimates from a contractor for work cited in the Complaint, photos, etc.

I understand the Board may request additional information from me. I agree that the Board can contact me to request additional information if it deems necessary.
