Blue Creek Conservation Area Field Trip
We organize trips for about 1000 students each year and teachers can ask for a program modeled to their needs. Highlights of a trip to Blue Creek Conservation Area include exploring the International Children’s Garden and one of Lucas County’s largest barns, a live animal presentation from Nature's Nursery as well as nature hikes with Metroparks of the Toledo Area through wetlands, prairies, oak savannah, and quarry areas.
There is a cost of $5.00 per student (funds go to Nature's Nursery and Metroparks). Financial assistance is available for some schools.
