Autopsy on the body of Darvelle Nelson, a 13-year-old male, was performed on November 25, 2025, at the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.
The autopsy revealed a single gunshot wound to the chest. The wound resulted in injuries to a major vessel off the heart and the left lung.
The cause of death is gunshot wound to the chest.
The manner of death is homicide.
